# Added new feta cheese recipe (more like blue cheese!)

I was hoping to make spanikopita this weekend, but noticed that it uses copious amounts of feta cheese (which most cheeses are forbidden due to ikki dairy allergy), so I found a nice recipe (which I slightly modified to make it better). It features tofu, lactic acid (instead of lemon juice), and garlic paste instead of onion powder. Its available on [my website](https://recipe.munn.me/Recipes/Best%20Vegan%20Feta%20Cheese%20%20Easy%20Vegan%20Substitute%20for%20Feta%20Cheese.html) as a recipe. I was really surprised at how crumbly and good this tasted. I often find that the vegan folks like to use onion powder in their dairy fake outs, which in IMHO tastes rather like ass. So I often replace the onion powder with something more interesting. I also like to use the lactic acid, so that my cheese doesn't taste like lemonade. I do appreciate the original authoris' recipe, its quite smart, just needed a little helping to bring it over the top.

It was a beautiful week no rain or horrid storms. Mostly doing well, thinking of replacing my current setup with incus (its a libvirtd free vm manager with containers as well). No hurry, I will probably do on dec this year.
